Clay Pigeon Competition

Clay pigeon shooting is a very traditional country pastime. The competition held during the match is organised by Marden Clay Targets, a local company which organises clay shoots professionally.

The competition usually takes the form of a 50 bird sporting competition and a 10 bird pool shoot. There are four classes for competition;

• i) Open classes
• ii) WKPMA Members
• iii) "Side by Side", The Bax Standen Trophy
• iv) The Richard Jenner Award for Junior High Gun
